Travel booking instructions
Please note: For those attending AVEVA World 2023, a blanket approval has been provided from the function heads across various departments for any employee travelling internationally. This approval is specific to AVEVA World 2023 attendees. Feel free to book your travel when you receive an invitation to register for the event.
Advance purchase of air reservations, at least 21 – 14 days before departure is strongly recommended wherever possible. Booking late can increase costs by over 60%. Advance booking offers significant savings to AVEVA plus the opportunity for your travel preferences to be met when planning.
Flights
Please book your flight in economy class, selecting the best fare available including a check in bag if possible. AVEVA understands this is outside of our normal policy, however given the large number of employees invited, this is the only way to include as many of the team as possible.
Compliance will be checked, if you have booked Premium this will not be approved in expenses and will be treated as a personal expense. Seat reservations, additional leg room or bulkhead seating which incurs charges will not be claimable on expenses - if you have any concerns over this decision, please discuss with your line manager.
Book via Concur

Travel to/ from airports
Please use Ride Share or Uber / Lyft / taxis where possible, in line with company travel policy.
- For travel locally and to/from airports please consider public transport/rail options where possible.
- If using a vehicle, consider electric.
- Because of the nature of the event, car rental is not required
