PI Adapters: Data Ingress for PI Server

This lab will give you hands-on experience with PI Adapters, our latest Data Ingress for the PI System. You’ll use Adapters to collect data from OPC UA, Modbus, and MQTT data sources and send it to a PI Server, to an Edge Data Store (EDS), and to AVEVA Data Hub (ADH). We will also present details about buffering, collecting health information, and the many different techniques for configuring PI Adapters.
This lab is targeted for PI System administrators and the IT staff who support them.

You will be taken through the process of collecting with simulated truck data from a MQTT Broker using the PI Adapter to send data to AVEVA Data Hub (ADH) for modeling and monitoring your fleet of assets.

Condition Based Maintenance and AVEVA Predictive Analytics

In this lab, we walk through scenarios to illustrate run time usage and condition-based monitoring using process data. Additionally, we will see how AVEVA Predictive Analytics (APA) can be used and visualize its information within the APA client as well as AVEVA PI Vision. The results from APA will be fed back into the AVEVA PI System for data modeling.
Data Views: Leveraging Cloud Data

This lab will show users how AVEVA Data Hub (ADH) extends PI System infrastructure to support enterprise-wide advanced analytics and machine learning.

In this lab, we will showcase the PI Integrator for Business Analytics Business Intelligence tool for analyzing your PI Data.

In this lab, you will be provided with an environment with an installed PI System. The guiding principle behind this lab is that after completion, you should be able to confidently maintain a small PI System by yourself.
This lab will provide you with hands-on activities that involve working with various PI System Management utilities, such as PI System Management Tools and PI Interface Configuration Utility.

Optimizing Asset Analytics for Better Performance

AVEVA Process Simulation is a next generation simulator that covers the complete lifecycle of a project with steady state, fluid flow and dynamic simulation in the same platform. It is targeted mainly at the Chemicals industry and Energy Transition projects.
