Is the event cancelled or postponed?

Due to concerns around the coronavirus (COVID-19), and in accordance with health guidance from the CDC, WHO, and other health authorities, we have decided to not host PI World San Francisco 2020 at the end of March. We have yet to determine plans for how to move forward. Please continue to check the site for updated information.

We are still planning for PI World Amsterdam 2020, taking place in late October. Please click here to register your interest in PI World Amsterdam.

When can I expect to hear further information regarding the conference?

We will be sending further details by mid-April regarding future event plans. In the meantime, we are actively working on different ways to share all the latest and greatest PI System stories and information.

Will you refund the cost of my ticket? When can I expect the refund to show up?

Yes, OSIsoft will be refunding you immediately in full. No action is required on your part. You should see the credit on your credit card show up between 5-8 business days (from March 10th). If you don’t see the credit on your statement by March 18th, please reach out to piworld@osisoft.com.

If you did not pay with a credit card, we will reach out to you with information on how to credit back your funds.

Can you hold onto my funds while you determine new PI World San Francisco 2020 dates?

No, we cannot hold onto funds. A full refund will be made to all registrants for PI World San Francisco. However, as registrants for this event, we will be providing a promo code for PI World EMEA 2020 for those who register their interest.

I also signed up for a lab. Will I be refunded for that as well?

Yes, we are also issuing full refunds on all lab registrations.

Is there any way to still obtain lab content?

Although the event will no longer be taking place in March, we will be offering registrants FREE access to our Training Cloud Environments for one month, letting you learn at your own pace and getting you hands-on practice with over 20 PI System labs that would have been shared at PI World San Francisco. Please look out for a separate email on April 1st with the promotion code and usage instructions.

I am a speaker or partner. What do I do next?

We will be in touch with you directly about alternative ways to stay engaged with PI World and the PI System community. Thank you for your continued support!

What about my PI World Industry dinner reservation? Will that also be cancelled by OSIsoft?

Yes, we are cancelling ALL industry dinners, which were scheduled to take place on Wednesday, March 25th. No further action from you is required.

I booked a hotel. Will you cancel my reservation?

Yes, we are cancelling all reservations booked through the PI World San Francisco 2020 room block. You will not have to pay a penalty or fee associated with the reservation.

If you are still interested in visiting San Francisco, please rebook your room directly with the hotel of your choice.

I purchased a flight. Will you reimburse me?

We are unable to reimburse you for the cost of travel that has already been booked for PI World San Francisco. We apologize for any inconvenience.
