One customer's success and challenges of meeting the PHMSA Rupture Detection guidelines using AVEVA's Rate of Change Combination (ROCC) application. This presentation is a follow-up to last year's presentation showcasing AVEVA's solution. The emphasis will be on challenges utilizing new features of ROCC and strategies to overcome these challenges. Discussion will include the effect on Control Room alarm counts and methods used to eliminate nuisance alarms resulting from the new PHMSA rule.
