Mana Afshari is the head of AVEVA PI System product management. Her focus is defining the strategy of PI System and AVEVA PI Data Infrastructure to continue to deliver value to the extensive customer base in a changing data landscape. Mana has worked with the PI System for over 13 years and has been in charge of the PI System strategy for the past 7+ years. Prior to AVEVA (and OSIsoft), she was the technical lead in the areas of structural health monitoring and smart materials. She holds a PhD in mechanical engineering from Virginia Tech university.

She has been working with the PI System since 2015 in a variety of different roles including technical support, customer success, and now account management. Andy Chong is an accomplished automation engineer with close to 20 years of experience in biopharmaceutical industry. He is currently serving as the Director of Automation Engineering at Gilead Sciences, a leading research-based biopharmaceutical company.
In his role at Gilead Sciences, Andy leads a team responsible for overseeing and maintaining automation-based systems and solutions that provide a flexible, innovative, highly efficient, compliant, and quality-focused environment for research and development and manufacturing. He is instrumental in developing, planning, and implementing projects and solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams, ensuring successful programs and customer satisfaction.
Andy has been a key driver in Gilead's Corporate Pharma 4.0 Digital Transformation initiative, leading the evaluation and introduction of new Pharma 4.0 tools. He also plays a pivotal role in developing automation technical standards and procedures to ensure the highest level of efficiency and quality within the organization. Prior to his current role, Andy served as the Principal Automation Engineer at Gilead Sciences for a span of seven years. During this time, he was responsible for overseeing all capital automation projects in Gilead's Foster City location, including the design, installation, commissioning, and qualification of the Building Management System (BMS) and Process Control System (PCS).

Brian Crandall has 25 years of experience in the Pharma industry in a variety of roles including enterprise sales, analytics engineering, and process automation. His current passion is working with his customers to put time-series data to work, digitally transforming companies by empowering people: operators, engineers, and data scientists. Brian holds a M.S. degree in Software Engineering from the University of Texas and a B.S. degree in Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines. He currently lives in Austin, TX

Bry Dillon has been in the enterprise software industry for over 25 years, spanning roles in sales and business development from venture funded startups to Fortune 500 organizations. His experience includes supply chain management, unstructured data, and 14 years in industrial software at AVEVA. He led the PI Business in the Western US, covering a variety of customers from both traditional and emerging markets. Bry also led Global Business Development; focused on helping customers extend their PI Infrastructure to leverage the power of Cloud Technologies. In his current role as SVP, Partners, Strategy and Business Development, Bry is responsible for AVEVA’s overall Partner strategy and the incubation of CONNECT, AVEVA's Industrial Platform.
