Below is an overview of our hands-on lab sessions at AVEVA ENABLE. You will be asked to sign up to these sessions during registration.

Skill Level: Beginner
The AVEVA Historian lab is a hands-on learning session designed to provide an overview of the features and functionalities released with the AVEVA Historian software. The session focuses on components and capabilities of the new release, as well as topics around Historian Client, Insight expressions and PI data replication. This highly interactive session provides room for Q&A as well as product feedback opportunities.
Skill Level: Beginner
AVEVA Insight delivers actionable information and Artificial Intelligence capabilities to help your teams improve asset reliability and operational performance. In this hands-on session, we will explore in depth the visualization features and get a good overview of the analytics options by using a fictitious brewery as our use case. You will learn what are the latest features released on AVEVA Insight as well as have the possibility to discuss, ask questions and provide feedback on the product to the AVEVA team.

Session Level: Beginner
This is an introductory hands-on session to AVEVA Manufacturing Execution System (MES) as well as the new Model Driven MES approach. Get to know the architecture and detailed components involved. The training covers standard MES capabilities such as Plant Modeling, Performance/OEE monitoring and Order Management. You will also learn about AVEVA's Model Driven MES approach by getting to know the Model Driven MES Demo. This interactive hands-on session provides a possibility to feedback on AVEVA MES as well as Q&A.
Skill Level: Intermediate
This session aims to go further with AVEVA System Platform via hands-on training. This session teaches effective ways of building a System Platform solution, how to get the most of AVEVA Historian analysis capabilities and template/derivation standards. As well as using Operations Management Interface (OMI) in projects. This is also an excellent opportunity for discussions and product feedback about System Platform.
Prior experience with System Platform is recommended.
Skill Level: Intermediate
AVEVA Plant SCADA (2023/2023R2) continues to build on the transition from Citect SCADA to AVEVA Plant SCADA in this release with UI/UX and many other enhancements. PS2023 also continues to build upon the journey of delivering Industrial Graphics functionality with native HTML5 components for runtime, by delivering Tag Write capabilities with new User Based access restrictions. This release also deliver’s OPC UA Server, Tag Write capabilities as well, plus new Alarm Performance on Filtering on the SOE and Alarm Summary Pages. This Hands-On Lab will cover many of these latest features plus some additional good to know best practices for project execution. This interactive session provides a possibility to provide feedback about AVEVA Plant SCADA as well as Q&A.

The AVEVA Edge lab is a hands-on learning session designed to provide an overview of the features and functionalities released with AVEVA Edge 2023. The session focuses on components and capabilities of the new release. This highly interactive session provides room for Q&A as well as product feedback opportunities.
Skill Level: Intermediate
This session introduces the Communication Drivers strategy and roadmap, and offers hands-on data acquisition exercises with OPC UA, MQTT and Sparkplug. Furthermore, this highly interactive session provides room for Q&A as well as hands-on evaluation of coming communication driver features, including a new cross-product interoperability feature that allows HMI/SCADA to access communication drivers without SuiteLink or OPC in-between.
Skill Level: Advanced
In this advanced lab you will learn how to build web widgets that are compatible with Industrial Graphics. A web widget is a small web component composed by self-contained code blocks that provides on-screen user interface elements. For example, using web widgets we can get access to the device camera, microphone, screen sharing, etc, through the MediaDevices Web API, we can leverage CSS animations, render 3D models with WebGL (you can use three.js library to make it easier) and many other web technologies, all from within System Platform or InTouch.
The lab will walk you through a use case of building an interactive chart web widget using the Highcharts JavaScript library and integrating it to System Platform.
We will be using HTML, CSS and JavaScript, prior knowledge of web development is recommended.
