Maurício Menon was born in Curitiba-PR, Brazil, in 1981. He received the B.Sc. and the M.Sc. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Technology - Paraná (UTFPR), Curitiba, Brazil, in 2005 and 2016, respectively. He is currently Engineer at Itaipu Binacional since 2008, and part-time assistant professor at the State University of West - Paraná (Unioeste), Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil, since 2012. His research interests include energy efficiency for wireless communications, error control coding and control/automation systems.
