Harald's main interest is self-service analytics for industrial process data. After finishing his PhD in computer science from Vienna University of Technology in 2012, Harald became the head of the Visual Analytics department at the Austrian research center VRVis with over 25 publications. He led the development of the software Visplore in close collaboration with enterprises such as RHI Magnesita. In 2020, Harald co-founded the Vienna-based spin-off company Visplore GmbH and is the CEO. He raised funding from four venture capital firms and is driving the further development and the growth of the company.
