As the CEO and head of product management of Visplore, Harald is shaping the strategy for development and driving the growth of the company while staying in close contact to key customers from power generation, pharmaceutics, pulp&paper, and other verticals.  After finishing his PhD in computer science from Vienna University of Technology in 2012, Harald became the head of the Visual Analytics department at the Austrian research center VRVis. He has over 25 publications focusing on his main interest in self-service analytics from industrial processes and assets. His mission is to empower subject-matter experts to faster troubleshooting and better decision making based on data. Since the onset, He has led the development of the software Visplore in close collaboration with enterprises such as RHI Magnesita. In 2020, Harald co-founded the Vienna-based spin-off company Visplore GmbH and raised funding from four venture capital firms since then.
