In his role as Hed of Operational Infrastructure and Performance, Javier leads not only all the OT activities but also the analytics that depend on operational data.
Javier has developed his 18 years experience entirely focused on activities related to energy management including SCADA systems, automation, control, metering, protections. In the early stages of his career, Javier worked as project engineer for ABB, where he participated in projects for energy plants accross the globe. In 2012 Javier joined EDPR, where he focused on SCADA control and protections on the European portfolio, having also first experience with PI System.
In 2018 Javier moved to Edimburgh to support growth of the offshore wind portfolio and, as one of they key contributors in that task, Javier was transferred to OW, where his responsibilities have continued to grow to meet the demand of more accurate and reliable data management in an increasing portfolio of large wind power plants.
