Vale is advancing its digital transformation with the “model plant” concept, based on optimization, democratization of information, and operational intelligence. Led by the Integrated Operations Center (COI), which uses the AVEVA PI System with AI, the initiative includes new PI Vision dashboards, connected operators, and QR codes in the field, promoting agility and autonomy. With structured data, Vale adopts predictive monitoring, prioritizing actions by urgency and asset criticality. The Monitoring and Analysis Center (CMA) complements this with predictive analytics and custom AI, reinforcing Vale’s leadership in innovation, autonomy, and operational excellence.
