Cargill implemented Alarm Sentinel connected to their PI system across ~40 sites to address overwhelming alarm rates and improve quality of data to Operators. Through standardized reporting and highlighting bad actor alarms, sites took the lead in alarm reduction, one site achieving a drop from 40,000 to under 2,000 daily alarms. The goal is 6 alarms/hour/operator and focusing on tracking operator interventions as their next priority in the journey.
