Getting leadership support for SCADA and communications projects isn’t always about the technology. It’s about being able to explain why the project matters to the business.
 
 This presentation will share practical lessons from working with SCADA, leak detection, terminal management, alarm management, and OT infrastructure in a midstream environment. We’ll look at how to turn technical problems into a business case, explain risk and the cost of doing nothing, and show where technologies like MQTT can provide value beyond just communications.
 
 The goal is to give attendees practical ideas they can take back to their own organizations to help communicate technical projects, answer the questions leadership will ask, and gain support for modernization initiatives.
