Abstract:
Strategic partnership conversations in OT tend to default to a two-party frame — the operator and the software vendor — with the integrator treated as an implementation detail rather than a partner in its own right. This overlooks real value: an integrator working across multiple operators and projects builds a pattern-recognition and cross-company perspective that neither the operator nor the vendor can replicate alone. In this three-way fireside conversation, Enbridge, AVEVA, and PipeCom will make the case for a genuinely tri-lateral partnership model — how the operator communicates its operational priorities and long-term roadmap needs, how the software vendor turns that input into platform direction, and how the integrator bridges the two, translating vendor roadmaps into what actually works in the control room while feeding real-world, multi-project experience back into both. Attendees will leave with a practical, leadership-level view of how to structure vendor relationships that deliberately include the integrator's voice — not as a delivery resource, but as a strategic partner.
