Abstract:
| Operations technology and enterprise systems often live in isolated silos, leaving teams to manually bridge the gap between what's happening in the field and what's tracked in the business. Streamline Control partnered with Plains Midstream to close that gap, building a middleware solution that automates the flow of data between the AVEVA PI System and IBM Maximo. Using APIs to connect OT and ERP environments, the integration eliminates manual data entry, automatically triggers maintenance work orders from real-time operational data, and keeps both systems in sync as new assets come online. The result is a scalable, low-maintenance bridge between the control room and the enterprise that reduces administrative overhead and gives maintenance teams visibility into asset conditions.
