Jose serves as the Global CTO Manufacturing at Microsoft, headquartered in Redmond, Washington. As a key member of the global Industry and partner leadership team, Jose plays a pivotal role in driving thought leadership, acting as an executive sponsor for strategic customers and partners, and leading executive alignment. His multifaceted responsibilities encompass business value, outcomes, technology, process and execution models, coupled with vertical industry expertise.

With over 40 years of experience in executive positions, Jose has amassed extensive expertise in fields such as operation technology, process engineering, software development, advanced process control, and automation control solutions. His career has spanned across Europe, South Asia, Latin America, and the United States, where he has held significant roles including GM, VP, CEO, and CTO. His leadership has been instrumental in spearheading complex transformations in global-scale mega programs and innovation engagements.

Jose joined Microsoft in 2014, initially serving as CTO Energy and now CTO Manufacturing. In his current role, he focuses on:
