Nathnael Ghebrehiwet is a Junior Electrical Engineer at East Bay Municipal Utility District (EBMUD), a public utility district that provides high-quality drinking water for 1.4 million East Bay customers. He is part of the SCADA Engineering Section, a team that supports the District Industrial Control Systems (DCS and SCADA systems). Nathnael holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Khalifa University (UAE). Soon after graduating, he briefly worked in academic research focused mainly on Deep Learning and Systems Optimization before moving to the United States. Nathnael is an IT hobbyist and has been supporting the advancement of Thin Client usage for the District SCADA.
