Kevin Rittie is a software and cybersecurity professional who has over 30 years of experience in the control system market. During that time he has designed, developed, and deployed SCADA products and control system solutions across multiple critical infrastructure industries throughout the world. He has held positions ranging from software developer to Director of R&D, including roles in product management, sales, business unit management, and marketing. He was the lead architect on a UI and data sourcing product that was strategic to several control system products and earned a software patent due to its unique design. In 2019, he originated a Cybersecurity role to bridge development and delivery, assist sales and other consistent security messaging, and formulated the establishment of a general cybersecurity practice to foster standard processes through the division. He has published numerous papers including a whitepaper on blockchain and a major cooperative effort on control system security with Cisco, Schneider Electric, and AVEVA. He joined Dexcent in 2022 to help with product maturity and to assist their growth into new ICS-related areas. He carries a B.S. in Computer Science and an M.S. in Cybersecurity and is also an adjunct professor teaching cybersecurity at Mount St. Mary’s University in Maryland.
