John Marriott is a seasoned leader in industrial software and automation with nearly three decades of experience spanning engineering, sales, and partner ecosystem development. He currently serves as CONNECT Specialist at AVEVA, where he helps organizations extend their on‑premise PI System environments with cloud and edge technologies.  He has been involved with CONNECT and the advancement of use cases within the industrial intelligence platform since 2020.

John’s career includes over 15 years with OSIsoft (now part of AVEVA), where he advanced from Account Manager to Partner Manager, building and scaling a robust partner ecosystem to support customers across manufacturing and utilities. Earlier, he was Vice President and co-owner of Global Process Automation, leading engineering teams focused on optimizing industrial processes, along with sales and operational management. He began his career as an application engineer specializing in Rockwell Automation solutions.

John holds an Executive MBA from the University of Ottawa, with a focus on strategy, leadership, and innovation.
