North Carolina Electric Cooperatives (NCEMC) operates a growing portfolio of distributed energy resources, including Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) sites, and needed unified visibility into asset health.  They partnered with AVEVA through the Lighthouse Program to pilot a cloud-first architecture with CONNECT to improve asset reliability and data sharing. This presentation will show how NCEMC leveraged AVEVA Advanced Analytics to monitor parameters such as breaker status and ambient temperature, create events, set up role-based alerts and email notifications and created near real time dashboards and daily summary reports. These CONNECT features replaced manual spreadsheets and established a scalable foundation for more advanced predictive monitoring and Industrial AI assistant use cases.
