Simon Collin, M.Sc., P.Eng., is a Technical Consultant at Cimsoft, now part of InSource Solutions Group. With a background in mechanical engineering and a specialization in industrial automation, Simon brings a strong combination of engineering expertise and practical experience to helping manufacturers address complex operational challenges.

He holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Université Laval, with a focus on automation. Throughout his career, Simon has worked closely with industrial organizations to design and implement technology solutions that connect operational systems, improve access to production data, and support smarter decision-making.

His areas of expertise include industrial automation, SCADA and HMI technologies, industrial data and system integration, and the application of modern digital technologies within manufacturing environments.
