Robert Gates, P.E. is a Senior Manager of simulations at Plains All-American Pipeline. He has 18 years of pipeline simulation experience at software vendors, EPC firms, and operators. He has designed, optimized, and overseen operations of pipelines ranging from sprawling gathering systems to long distance large diameter lines. He has experience simulating a variety of fluids ranging from CO2, Natural Gas, and N2, to NGLs, crude-oil and water, as well as experience in slurry pipeline design and simulation. Robert lives in Houston, TX with his wonderful wife and son
