With a background in mechanical engineering, Mana Afshari is the Vice President of AVEVA PI System Portfolio, leading the strategy and vision for PI System and AVEVA PI Data Infrastructure.  With a deep understanding of the PI System and the market needs, her team works closely with customers and the extended community of partners to continue to deliver value in an evolving data landscape.  Prior to AVEVA, Mana was the technical lead in the areas of structural health monitoring and smart materials.  She holds a PhD in mechanical engineering from Virginia Tech University.
