The versatile leader. Steven Back manages a team of thirty supervisors, operators, and specialized cleaners to run the world leading deep underground science facility. A Professional Engineer and MBA graduate, Steven brings over a decade of experience designing, commissioning, and operating process systems. This includes project managing the deepest underground liquid nitrogen production plant. As well, as commissioning and operating an ultra-clean deep underground petrochemical plant for the 2015 Nobel prize winning SNO experiment. Steven's focus has been on process safety through process and control system design.
