While heritage-OSIsoft PI Manual Logger still can be used by PI System customers, it’s on its way to being phased out. This presentation will introduce AVEVA Mobile Operator, an industry-leading system for the field workforce, to capture the non-instrumented assets in power & utilities. AVEVA Mobile Operator brings the manual field work to be unified with automation data, by a combination of workforce management software, mobile handhelds, monitoring devices, and QR codes and NFC tag readers that can read multiple fields from a single scan.
