ASARCO kickstarted its digital transformation journey by partnering with AVEVA and CASNE in early 2022. ASARCO chose AVEVA™ PI System™, alongside Monico's mcore device for mobile assets, to collect and centralize data from its critical assets. ASARCO and CASNE worked in partnership to develop asset framework templates, analytics, and AVEVA™ PI Vision displays to monitor critical equipment and calculate important KPIs for slope stability, fleet management, and mine planning. It used AVEVA™ Predictive Analytics to perform advanced analytics on the crushing circuit and other critical equipment in order to proactively alert operators to impending asset failure.
