The commencement of Asset Operations relies in the design, engineering, and construction phases of a project’s lifecycle. Scattered data reduces the ability to tap accurate information, leading to delays and exponential cost surges. Safety being our cornerstone of success, inefficient data accessibility can jeopardize safety. Factors like data accuracy, cost, risk and information consistency drive operational excellence, and to achieve this aspiration at every step of engineering and operations, we chose AVEVA™ Unified Engineering (UE). UE enabled integrated flow of data for the brown field projects with intelligence governed by the attributes available in respective tools. Availability and controlled accessibility of engineering data was made possible by the data-centric ways of working by the EPCs within UE. Technically assured, accurate and matured data handover by the EPCs enabled the Asset to integrate information into Asset Digital Twin thereby uplifting operational efficiency, cutting down delays and drive business use cases. Leveraging UE for the Asset Operations led to productivity gains by harnessing the intelligent data to create workflows for Master Tags creation and approvals on a single platform, create & re-use Auto Job Packs for Process Isolation, and extraction of error free Smart MTO from 3D models for Turn Arounds (TA). Democratizing UE data drives greater business value transformation.
