Brian Hughes' current role at AVEVA is Head of Portfolio, Engineering, responsible for all products within AVEVA’s Engineering Business Area.
He has a civil/structural engineering background and worked for over 20 years in industry, primarily in the Oil and Gas business, involved in numerous major projects for global EPC contractors prior to joining AVEVA. He has a wide experience in AVEVA and competitor software and developed a good grounding in how our customers execute their projects.
He joined AVEVA back in 2011 working for product development in Cambridge, where he was the Product Owner for Draw module and helped develop the first version of AVEVA Everything3D™.
Then, after moving into the Product Strategy and Marketing team in 2013, he worked in various roles managing the Engineering and Design and Execution Product suites.
