Cal Depew is the Product Director for AVEVA™ Process Simulation, AVEVA’s next generation simulation product from SimSci heritage. Previously, Cal was the dynamic simulation product director. He designed the process models for a first-principle dynamic process simulator Dynsim for engineering studies and operator training simulators. He was a senior project manager for a 700 MW coal-fired power operator training simulator. Prior to joining SimSci, Cal led Fluor’s dynamic simulation group where he conducted over seventy studies which pioneered new applications for dynamic simulation for process engineering. Mr. Depew has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley.
