Rich Guhl has 33 years of experience in the chemical Industry working for Bayer and now Covestro. He is currently the PCT and Digitalization Lead of the Baytown Texas plant. Rich’s career has been focused on steady state and dynamic simulation, APC and optimization. In 2018 he was named Head of the Global Data Analytics and Applications Group, which was formed to help develop Covestro’s analytics strategy for manufacturing, and remains involved in the manufacturing analytics and digitalization space. Since 2016 Rich has spent most of his spare time traveling the country watching his 3 kids play college soccer, and still has 3 years left to go!
