Peter Vanney is a Data Analyst/Data Scientist/Statistician for the Chelan County Public Utility District in Wenatchee, Washington, USA. He is currently working on machine learning models, forecasting river conditions, dispatch models, and condition-based maintenance schedules. Peter’s favorite programming language is R, and he joined the PUD in 2018. Peter’s BA in mathematics and MS in statistics give him a different perspective on computerized modeling that helps him bridge the gaps between IT, OT, Engineering, and the Senior Management Team.
