Ben Firth is a Principal Engineer in the Digital Process Engineering team at Atkins, mostly working with the Net-Zero Energy business. He holds a PhD from the Centre for Sustainable and Circular Technologies at the University of Bath, England. Prior to being acquired by Atkins, he was the Technical Director at Flex Process. He specialises in process modelling, delivering concept studies, safety assessments, and operator training. At Atkins he is working to integrate process modelling into the wider digital twin offering, and is always keen to find more uses for simulation.
