Leadership, ingenuity and information: the story of the NASA Mars Project
Day 1: Morning Keynotes

Adam Steltzner is recognized as one of NASA’s leading – and most unique – innovators. For nearly a decade, Steltzner led and inspired the breakthrough team that invented the ingenious “sky crane” landing system that landed the Mars rover, Curiosity, on the Martian surface in 2012. Steltzner is the team lead & Chief Engineer of NASA’s Mars 2020 Perseverance Rover mission that will gather core samples of Mars for scientific discovery.
Steltzner will share with AVEVA World attendees his unique strategies and perspectives on collaborative leadership, breaking through the seemingly impossible, and harnessing the power of curiosity to spark innovation.
