Stuart Smith is AVEVA’s Vice President of Technology for the Engineering Business Area, leading engineering strategy, AI adoption, and modern software development practices across the R&D organization. He is currently leading Hypervelocity Engineering and plays a central role in shaping the architecture and evolution of AVEVA’s Unified Engineering platform. Stuart works closely with product and engineering teams to modernise tooling, streamline workflows, and embed AI‑assisted, automation‑driven development methods that accelerate innovation and delivery across AVEVA’s portfolio.
