Solveig is from Norway and holds an MSc in Engineering Cybernetics from NTNU. She is the Head of Digitalization at Vianode, a producer of anode materials for electric vehicle batteries. She has previous experience from Elkem, Saint-Gobain, MacGregor and GE Healthcare. Solveig serves on the Research Council of Norway’s Portfolio Board for Enabling Technologies and is active in the Eyde Cluster. In 2024 she contributed to the Process 21 report, advising the norwegian governemnt on digitalization. She serves on the Norwegian Board of Technology (Teknologirådet), an independent public body that advises the parliament and government on the societal implications of new and emerging technologies.
