Norah Thompson has worked at Power and Water Corporation since early 2000 in several roles focussed on data quality and information management. In late 2008 the first instance of PI was implemented with 1 Data Archive and 1 interface in the Water part of the company. The current PI system has transformed into 3 on prem PI systems across 4 utilties services, with 100's of interfaces, many AF databases and almost a thousand PI Vision Displays. Power and Water is a small utility that manages assets across a wide expanse with unique environemntal challenges. This has led to seeking out innovative collaborations with companies like Aveva (Lighthouse progam, Industry Accelerator for Water) to embrace new technologies
