In EPC projects, creating a reliable material catalogue is often underestimated. Poor data modeling within AVEVA ERM Catalogue Manager can lead to redundancy, inconsistencies, and costly rework across the entire supply chain. To solve this, we implemented a structured approach combining AVEVA ERM’s flexibility with 3rd-party database modeling and governance tools. This ensured data normalization, stronger attribute logic, and faster, more reliable catalogue maintenance across multiple EPC environments.
