Saipem is evaluating the adoption of Generative AI to support engineering design activities in complex EPC projects.
As part of its “AI 4 Engineering” program, Saipem works with AVEVA by contributing engineering perspective and validation on experimental Generative Design AI capabilities, including AI based 3D pipe autorouting, with a focus on early project phases.
The session discusses how Generative AI can be progressively integrated into engineering workflows and how internal digital solutions, such as technical drawing data extraction, can complement AVEVA technologies to enhance overall engineering efficiency and consistency.
