The Porto do Pecém project aims to produce 2,700 tonnes per day of green ammonia from an integrated electrolysis and ammonia plant located in the industrial area of the Port of Pecém.

The ammonia produced will be exported as a green product, and can be used either as green ammonia or as a hydrogen carrier.

As a highly complex and innovative project worldwide, AVEVA tools were essential in enabling efficient, integrated management of project data, ensuring full information traceability, and significantly reducing rework resulting from scope changes.
