ISA Energía Perú detects SF₆ gas leaks in high-voltage substations through the use of AVEVA PI System. Field sensors monitor pressure, density, and temperature across GIS(Gas Insulated Substation) compartments, enabling both descriptive and predictive analytics for early detection of SF₆ gas leaks. Results are visualized in AVEVA PI Vision, while alerts are automatically generated via PI Notifications and delivered by email to ensure timely and effective response. This initiative has demonstrated measurable results in emissions reduction, automated data acquisition and optimized maintenance planning, wich contributes to both environmental sustainability and operational excellence.
