Undoubtedly, AI will open many new use cases and options, but as with any new application we need to understand its boundaries and pre-requisites. Our thesis is, that technology is not defining the success of AI implementations, the general culture of data management is . Our idea is to build that from a simple and easy starting point. Educating how to connect the various applications to one overarching data driven ecosystem will take time, but ultimately build a sustainable data backbone. Building this on top of our established AVEVA software landscape may ease the transition into this new world and bring additional benefit to the existing environment, through a faster transition into the world of AI and a reduction in risk of failed AI projects due to wrong expectations and/or missing  foundation.
