In 2018 we implemented a new application in the environmental business companies of a2a, which was designed to allow the monitoring of the services on the cities served by the companies and to react in case of necessity and enable a continuous improvement of the business. 

The application is based on the PI System which is designed to acquire data from the vehicle black-boxes and provide all the information gathered this way to the users, who access the system via a specific geographical front-end implemented with ESRI technology. The two sides are connected by the native integrator of the PI suite.

Using the platform we can control and supervise all the services provided and thank to the Central Control Room we have always an eye on the cities.
