SINELEC manages the OT and IT infrastructure for highways located in Northern Italy, covering over 1,200 km and more than 50 tunnels.
Field assets are monitored through 8 control rooms originally built using different standards and technologies. SINELEC’s goal has been to standardize on a single SCADA technology and define an integration framework that enables real-time, bidirectional data exchange between OT systems and the Traffic Management System [TMS).

Additionally, SINELEC aims to establish a data management architecture that operates independently of local monitoring systems, providing additional data context, supporting advanced data analysis, and facilitating integration with corporate functions.
