The vision for this project is clear: create a trusted foundation for grid analytics by consolidating meter and operational data. The challenge lies not in building a simple data lake, but in ensuring the readiness of systems, the quality of data, and respecting the operational realities of UK Power Networks across its three licensed regions. Treating this as more than a technology project, the delivery embedded operational scope and expertise into the design, producing a fit-for-purpose, operationally grounded platform. At its core, PowerRunner on PI unifies meter data, ADMS attributes, CIM network models, and SCADA measurements into a governed and contextualized environment.
