Lonnie is one of the co-founders of Apex Manufacturing Solutions, established in 2005. With over 35 years in industrial automation and controls, Lonnie has comprehensive expertise across multiple technical domains.
A U.S. Air Force veteran, Lonnie holds an Associate's Degree in Avionics from the Community College of the Air Force (1990). Following his military service, he developed his engineering and programming skills at Micron Technology and various system integrators before launching Apex.
Lonnie actively leads both internal and customer-facing application architecture development. He provides technical design guidance, ensures consistent application of standards, and oversees development, testing, and commissioning processes. He regularly conducts training for internal teams and end users on technical best practices and standards implementation.
Lonnie's technical experience spans diverse industrial environments including food and beverage processing, semiconductor manufacturing, mining operations, nuclear facilities, water/wastewater treatment systems, renewable energy, and oil extraction.
