Maarten Willems, graduated with a MSc. in chemical engineering, has worked for 15 years in the area of Industrial Digitalization and Digital Oilfield. His experience covers real-time monitoring and optimisation, data integration technologies and engineering workflows design. Over his career, he has had numerous roles working for companies such as ADNOC, Arkema, Occidental Petroleum, Rohm, Total Energies, Shell and others. Maarten is currently a Senior Manager operations in the Digital Solutions (DiSo) team of Process Automation Solutions where he is responsible for the global DiSo project portfolio within the Chemicals and Energy vertical.
