Ehab Beshay, Director – Smart Manufacturing at Cognizant, is a seasoned engineering and manufacturing leader with over two decades of experience in discrete manufacturing, automotive, electronics and Aerospace. He specializes in new product introductions, smart manufacturing, automation, and digital transformation. Ehab has successfully led large-scale projects, manufacturing site startups, and integrated Industry 4.0 technologies to drive efficiency and cost savings.
Ehab's professional journey includes key leadership roles at Honeywell and Harman International. As Senior Director of Automation and Digitalization at Honeywell, he led manufacturing digital transformation initiatives. At Harman, he directed advanced manufacturing engineering and the global Industry 4.0 strategy. Recently, Ehab has focused on consulting in smart manufacturing and advising startups on their go-to-market strategy.
Ehab holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Rutgers University. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) by the Project Management Institute.
He resides in the Charlotte Metro area of North Carolina with his wife and two children. His son studies Business Administration in college, and his daughter is in high school. In his free time, he enjoys playing pickleball, traveling, and experiencing diverse cultures with his family.
