Ali Khafagy is currently an Assistant Technical Engineer/Officer within Ontario Power Generation’s Monitoring and Diagnostic Centre. Part of his role includes being the single point of contact for AVEVA Predictive Analytics (APA), where he manages all aspects of the software and is a core user. He utilizes APA for many nuclear, hydroelectric, and thermal power applications. Ali studied Chemical Engineering, while also completing a Chemical Process Modelling, Optimization, and Control specialization and a Management Sciences option, and graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science from the University of Waterloo. He loves to learn and looks forward to continuing to grow in the industry.
