At Portland General Electric, my tenure as Principal System Integration Specialist has been marked by a steadfast commitment to enhancing system architectures and integrating enterprise systems. My work with Aveva/OSIsoft technologies, including the PI System, has been pivotal in ensuring high availability and secure data access for critical operations. The design and standardization of PI Displays have significantly improved real-time data access. My approach emphasizes collaboration, leveraging the PI Web API for automation solutions and engaging with external vendors to optimize data utilization. By leading the PI Governance Group and contributing to monthly report generation using PI Asset Framework, our team has successfully migrated legacy systems and established robust governance for data management. My role embodies a fusion of technical prowess in time-series data, relational databases, and software development, with a strategic focus on delivering integrated solutions that drive business efficiency.
