Enabling Green Hydrogen Applications Through Digital Twins: Mintal Green Hydrogen Project
Time
11:30 AM - 12:00 PM (PDT)
Description

The goal of the Mintal gH2 project is to use digital twin technology to maximise the use of green hydrogen [gH2]. With a focus on Inner Mongolia's Power-gH2-Ammonia project [2023-2025], it aims to produce 300,000 tonnes of gH2 yearly and 1,800 tonnes of green ammonia per day. The $30 billion Power-to-X projects in China are in line with the $1.2 billion investment. A single digital solution optimises LCOE and LCOH while addressing design, reliability, and cost issues. Energy storage, wind farm sizing, and system verification were the main objectives of phase I. The result supports China's shift to green energy by ensuring effective planning, lower costs, and increased IRR.
