Sustainability and digitalization are key drivers for operational excellence. At Khurais Producing Department (KhPD), a comprehensive initiative was introduced to optimize power consumption and reduce emissions through digitalized monitoring solutions. The project deployed an advisory automated power monitoring system for recycle optimization and a cogeneration dashboard to capture and implement best practices. Developed entirely using AVEVA PI Server, especially its asset framework, and AVEVA PI Vision, these dashboards transform raw plant data into actionable insights. Real-time analytics, automated alerts, and interactive displays empower reliability teams to make swift, data-driven decisions, minimizing energy losses and enhancing performance. The initiative has driven a 65% reduction in emissions, a 48% reduction in maintenance costs, and a 23% increase in MTBF, demonstrating how digitalization fosters sustainability.
